This recall includes the Contigo Kids Cleanable water bottles. The base and the cover of the clear silicone spout is always BLACK. Only the black color spout base and spout cover models are impacted for this recall. The word “Contigo” is located on the rim and the front near the bottom of the bottle body. The bottles come in three sizes (13, 14, and 20 ounces) and four bottle colors (solid color, graphics, plain stainless steel and solid colors stainless steel). The bottles were sold individually and in packs of two and three.

Concern/Hazard
The spout on the bottle can become detached creating a potential choking hazard.
Confirmed Incidents
The company has gotten 149 reports of the water bottle spout detaching which includes 18 spouts in children's mouths.
Remedy
Consumers should stop using the water bottles immediately and contact Contigo for further instructions and a free replacement lid. Do not throw the bottle away as the remedy is a new lid for your current bottle body.
