Our Verdict

Discontinued — The Eddie Bauer Belmont has been discontinued.
REASONS TO BUY
Masculine in design
REASONS TO AVOID
Poor quality and construction
Dark lining
Thin padding
We don't find anything exciting about the Eddie Bauer Belmont Duffle for $40. Overall, its quality and construction are poor. The interior lining is thin, darkly colored and does not feel durable at all. The padding on the shoulder strap and changing pad is thin as can be. The zippers and seams are poor in quality. Although there are 17 pockets, we feel an aura of disorganization surrounding the Belmont. Frustration comes to mind. The internal compartment has a panel to keep the bottom flat which is prone to moisture, crumbs, and microbes collecting and festering if not cleaned with regularity. For better organization and design, we recommend spending $5 more on the Fisher-Price Fastfinder Deluxe On the Go Backpack, our Best Value winner.

Our Analysis and Test Results

The Eddie Bauer Belmont Duffle is a bag we do not recommend buying. It is of poor quality and its features are nothing to write home about. Plus, it feels more like a low-end camera bag than a diaper bag.
