Our Verdict

The MAM is a squat little bottle that we found to be complicated and leaky. Another bottle that unscrews from both the top and the bottom, getting it all back together again was a chore. It has a soft, rubber anti-colic valve that we got tired of fiddling with; it's only saving grace is that it is self-sterilizing in the microwave.

Our Analysis and Test Results

For us, the MAM was a leaker. It's prone to leakage if not assembled just right, leaked in travel, and had leaked everywhere when we found our little tester had dropped it in her high chair. It has a flat shaped nipple that was overly soft and collapsed during feeding. We had to unscrew the bottle to let the air escape.

Likes

It's ability to self-sterilize in the microwave.

Wide mouth made filling easy.

Dislikes

Did we mention the leaking?! Plus an odd shaped, collapsing nipple that our baby just didn't go for.

Conclusion

Based on our testing, we found the MAM to be one of our least favorite bottles. If you're looking for a specially shaped or tooth-friendly nipple, we say try the NUK Orthodontic.
