Our Verdict
The Leachco Cuddle-U Nursing Pillow tries to take a popular nursing pillow shape and make it its own; however, it strikes out on providing necessary support for both mom and baby. At a first glance, the pillow looks promising with its cute fabric choices and the removable fabric that can be used to hold baby when sitting. Unfortunately, in terms of assisting with feeding, this pillow falls flat on first expectations and provides only a fraction of the support of the look-a-like competition.

Nursing Comfort
The benefit of using a nursing pillow is the added support for mom and baby. Unfortunately, in our opinion, the Leachco Cuddle-U Nursing Pillow provided the same amount of support that a standard bed pillow would; just enough to keep baby off your lap, but not enough to make you or baby any more comfortable. The lack of support makes it easy for baby to move when feeding and limits how you can sit in order to nurse in comfort. The pillow scored a five for ease of use because of its small size and ease of placement, however, it does not hug the body, making it quite easy for the baby to become stuck in the space between the body and the pillow.

Ease of Use
The Leacho Cuddle-U pillow can easily be handled and put into place with one arm while your other hand holds baby before feeding. Additionally, we found that this pillow does fit women of different sizes well although not nearly with the close fit we'd prefer. One feature this pillow includes is the addition of straps to support the baby as they learn to sit. Although this is not a feature that aids in nursing, it is a nice way to prop a baby up on his back to aid him in learning to sit. When nursing, these straps can Velcro off and tuck away in a pocket hidden in the front of the pillow.

Materials
Although the fabric beaded up liquid quite well, only the cover is machine washable which means the pillow could get dirty when spills do soak through. Additionally, after the cover had been washed just three times it became quite snug to fit back onto the pillow which made the pillow's shape retention score a mediocre five.
Unfortunately, the Leachco Cuddle-U pillow cover does not retain its shape after washes and becomes snug to fit around the pillow.

Ease of Cleaning
This pillow comes with a no-fuss cover for cleaning as it beads up liquid quickly and can be put into both the washing and drying machine. This sounds simple, but when you as a new parent already have more clothes to wash than before, having a nursing pillow cover that washes and dries easily is not something to be taken for granted!
